Dan J. Parrish, Sr.
Football Center

Georgia Southern University
Statesboro, GA

In November of 2000 the Dan J. Parrish Sr. Football Center became the headquarters of Georgia Southern's football program. Built at a cost of over $1.1 million, the 12,000 square-foot Parrish Center houses the entire Georgia Southern football staff, and is conveniently located adjacent to Iron Works and just north of Hanner Fieldhouse on Fair Road in Statesboro.

The Parrish Center features coaches' offices, video studio/equipment headquarters, staff meetings rooms, team meeting rooms, staff locker room, and a reception and recruiting area. The Parrish Center also houses Georgia Southern's six NCAA Division I National Championship trophies as well as other priceless pieces of GSU Football memorabilia.

Construction of a Football Center for Georgia Southern was made possible only after a generous donation from Mr. and Mrs. Dan J. Parrish, Jr. of Metter, GA. Dan and Wanda are long-time supporters of Georgia Southern Athletics.
